Islam

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):

Five Pillars Of Islam

Testemony

1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ).

Prayer

2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.

Charity

 

3. To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity) .

Fasting

 

4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca)

Hajj

 

5. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan

Faith/Iman

The Five Pillars of Faith/Iman

Allahﷻ

The first pillar of Faith is, you must believe that there is no God but Allah.

Angels

The second pillar of Faith , is to believe in Angels.

Books

The third pillar of Faith , is to believe in his books

Messengers

The forth pillar of Faith, is to believe in His messengers.

Last Day of Judjment

The fifth pillar of faith, is to believe in the last day of judjment.

Predestinational

The sixth pillar of Faith, is to believe in predestinational good or bad.

Ihsan

One day while the Prophet (ﷺ) was sitting in the company of some people, (The angel) Gabriel came and asked, “What is faith?” Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) replied, ‘Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection.” Then he further asked, “What is Islam?” Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) replied, “To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan.”

 

 

“What is Ihsan (perfection)?” Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) replied, “To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you.”

 

“What is Ihsan (perfection)?” Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) replied, “To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you.”

 

Signs of The Last Day

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should not hurt his neighbor and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should serve his guest generously and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should speak what is good or keep silent.”
